why we love it:  This creation was made for a customer who needed something custom and sophisticated for the ultimate hat party: the Kentucky Derby. He wanted a classic fedora with a flanged brim, and minimal embellishments.  Jut as he asked, we kept it simple and sophisticated, featuring a flanged brim, pencil curl, and 5mm leather rope cord with a barrel knot and gold end caps. Finished it up with a custom satin liner.
